Nice list. While I don't agree with all of it, that has more to do with a pre- '74 bias for this tune.

Looking to the post-hiatus stuff...no Miami '89? That's the "scary" one...

Just nitpicking, though. Really good list overall. :)

For which I sincerely applaud you. We are the only Moderators we have...

While listening to early Dark Stars, this is what you might have seen...

Kudos for anything not relating to the troll BS going on right now. I don't know which is worse...the worm in question, or the people who insist of feeding him....(I guess the former, since I've seen some pretty cool folks give into their frustration and lash out out Joe Toolbox).

Thanks for keeping the focus on the tunes.

Thanks to you strat and Rings for bringing us back to the music in your posts. Even if we discuss Dark Star for the umpteenth millionth time, that's OK with me. It just makes me play a few of them over again.

BTW, LIA, I never got around to thanking you for all your scholarly insightful posts.

Cleveland Public Hall 73-12-06 This DS has it all soft and sweet as well as brain cell killing hystereia. For me the kookier the better. thats just me. I never got the chance to hear a DS live, But when I put this one on the nerve endings in my cranium stand at attention. The song, this version makes me feel like I had a Psyliociben (sic?) sandwich when actually I never had anything stonger than a peanut butter and jelly. Gotta love the Dead especially when there scaring the chidren. From Ohio ( the heart of it all) Peace ya bunch of Freaks
